The 1535 military muster, listed all males of military age, and the armour and weapons they could supply for the national defense. Individuals were expected to make provision in accordance with the value of their land and goods. Their is no date on the original document but comparisons with other documents suggest a date of c1535. The list is from my own transcriptions taken from the muster rolls published by T. L. Stoate, Bristol'' The index contains 23 records.
